We recently switched to CHC after some issues with our previous pediatrician. The staff has been consistently accommodating, friendly, and informative. We see Mary Beth Meehan and she has been wonderful. She came into our first appointment knowing all of my infant son’s lengthy medical history and was great with him and my older daughter even got her involved in 'helping' her with his exam. I could not be happier and only wish we had made the switch much, much sooner.
Thank you Dr. Robert Chirlin, for not only following the growth of my children and treating them when they get ill, but also for genuinely listening to my concerns and always giving great advice and really teaching me to be the best mom I can be. Not mentioning how much fun you are with your witty brain and funny jokes. I really enjoy the role of educator you take on, on top of being a great pediatrician!
I love Children's Health Care! We started going to CHC about 11 years ago and have always been thrilled with the care my children receive. When one of my children came back with an abnormal test result, they immediately consulted a specialist and set us on a positive path for healing. I have never had a bad experience there and am always impressed with the level of services they provide.
I have been going here for close to 20 years, having been a patient myself of Dr. Sheehan, and now my kids are all patients here! Great group of providers! Love them all!!!
Today, my son told Dr.Sheehan, "I love you!" She has been his doctor for 18 years and has seen us through many health issues and his special needs. For him to communicate how he feels is HUGE! CHC is the best!

I have been taking my kids to Children's Health Care for over eight years and absolutely love it there! The office staff is so friendly, kind, and helpful, and the doctors, nurse practitioners and nurses are all equally wonderful! They also have evening hours, which is great. I would highly recommend to anyone in the greater Newburyport area!
