Lars Lundgren, MD, FAAP

Born and raised in Sweden, Dr. Lundgren joined Children’s Health Care in 1992. Board-certified in pediatrics, he graduated from the Karolinska Institute Medical Shcool in 1989. Dr. Lundgren and his family moved to New England where he completed his pediatric residency at Boston City Hospital from 1989 to 1992.

As a student, Dr. Lundgren participated in the internationally renowned organization “Up with People.” The proud father of Sarah, Natasha and Marcus, Dr. Lundgren continues to support his children’s involvement in their mother’s dance school in Hampton Falls, NH. Since 2006 he has also been working at the Massachusetts Hospital School in Canton, MA where he is the Assistant Medical Director.  The Mass Hospital School provides medical, rehabiltative, educational, and vocational services to children and young adults with multiple disabilities.  He is remarried to his partner, Michael, and has increased his family with two sons, Andrew and William.
